Fall is fast approaching. When macOS Big Sur is released later this year together with the first Apple Silicon Mac, all compatible and developer approved iOS apps will be available on the Mac App Store.
On the one hand, this is really cool. On the other hand, as a Mac developer and user, I feel slightly uncomfortable. What this means is that a few million? apps will hit the Mac App Store overnight. Most of these apps will not be a great experience on the Mac... I'm afraid that well crafted "native" AppKit apps will disappear in the noise. I hope Apple has thought of this :-)
